Where is Havelock North? Situated in Hawke’s Bay east of Hastings. The village sits under the renowned Te Mata Peak (The Sleeping Giant). When is the best Weather? January, February and March are some of the warmest months. July is generally the cooler. Havelock North has a very high temperate climate throughout the year with high sunshine hours. This is reinforced by the number of vineyards and variety of fruit grown here. Where is the nearest Airport? Situated in Napier, a shuttle is available from the airport. This can be preordered. What is your price guide? Our winter studio rates vary from NZ$130 per couple per night. This includes light breakfast provisions. Corporate rates are available by prior arrangement. Seasonal rates apply. Extended stays by arrangement. Is there secure parking? There is secure off road parking beside cottage available. By arrangement we can accommodate boat trailers, horse floats and the like. Are linen and towels supplied? Yes Internet connection available - user charge Where is best to eat out? There are many restaurants and bars in the village. Where do I go to get groceries? Situated in the village and nearby Hastings. What do we do about our laundry? We have a guest laundry. Small charge for washing powder and dryer. What is there to do in Hawke’s Bay? There are many and varied to name a few - award winning wineries, local fresh markets, Splash Planet, Gannet Colony, Scenic Flights/Hot Air Ballooning, Mountain Biking, Golf Courses, Ocean and Waimarama Beaches.
